Noho Mai
NOHO MAI is a collaborative te reo Māori poetry film created during an online writing and film workshop run by Charles Olsen and Peta-Maria Tunui during the Covid-19 confinement in Spain and Aotearoa, New Zealand, March - July 2020. It was premiered at the Wairoa Māori Film Festival in October 2020.
Noho Mai has been selected as one of 34 films from around 2000 entries for the competition section of the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival, Berlin, where it will be shown from 20 November in the programme International Competition I: Precious Souvenirs; the Ó Bhéal International Poetry Film Competition, Cork, where it will be shown in the online Winter Warmer festival on 29 November; and Cinemística, Granada, in the programme Esculpiendo el Silencio on 25 November.
